Born out of a need for genuine burrata, the owners established Bocconcino as a burrata factory, supplying freshly made burrata to numerous restaurants across Hawaiʻi. But they wanted to share their culture with us, so they started expanding and importing products from their motherland: Italy.

And why stop there? With these newly arrived ingredients, they have also started crafting paninis and award-winning Roman pizzas.

This is what living in Kakaako is all about: walking to a cozy, open-air setting, whether you are on a casual date, solo, or with friends, or sitting at the community table to make new friends over pizza!

Want an extra tip? For an authentic Italian experience, come on Fridays and Saturdays between 6 and 9 p.m. to taste a Neapolitan pizza—you can only get it on these two days! These pizzas will be prepared in a brick oven right before your eyes, using all authentic Italian ingredients.

Don't forget to also grab a wine or crafted beer from their store next door and pair it with that delicious pizza!
